For the Parents

NCA is committed to partnering with you to foster your child’s academic, spiritual, and personal growth in a vibrant, God-honoring environment. Together, we’ll nurture their faith and learning, equipping them to shine for Christ. Please read the school handbook linked below for more information on our programs and enrollment.

Safety First

A Safe and Welcoming Community at NCA

At NCA, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where every student feels valued and secure. Grounded in a biblical worldview, we believe that every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we strive to reflect God’s love by fostering a community of care, respect, and belonging.

Our comprehensive safety measures ensure peace of mind for students and families. For detailed information, refer to our school handbook, which covers:

  • Supervision: Dedicated staff oversight to ensure student safety throughout the day.

  • Student Arrivals and Dismissals: Structured procedures for smooth and secure transitions.

  • Bus and Playground Safety: Clear guidelines to promote safety during transportation and recreation.

  • Bullying Awareness and Prevention: Proactive policies rooted in biblical principles of kindness and justice to address and prevent bullying.

  • Additional Safety Protocols: Comprehensive measures to maintain a secure learning environment.

By prioritizing safety and spiritual care, we create a space where students can thrive academically, socially, and spiritually, living out Psalm 139:14: “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Join the NCA family, where safety, faith, and community unite to honor God and support every student!

Arrivals and  Dismissals

Morning Arrival:

Supervision Hours: Adult supervision is available starting at 7:45 A.M. Students are not permitted to enter the school building before this time.

7:45 A.M. – 8:00 A.M.: Students arriving during this period must proceed directly to the gymnasium, where they will be supervised by school staff.

8:00 A.M. – 8:20 A.M.: Students arriving during this period should go directly to their assigned classroom or homeroom.

Late Arrivals:

Students arriving after 8:20 A.M. are considered tardy and must report to the school office with a written note from a parent or guardian explaining the reason for their tardiness.

A tardy student must obtain an office pass before being admitted to class.

Exception: Students arriving late due to a delayed school bus will not be required to provide a note or obtain an office pass.

Early Dismissals:

A written note from a parent or guardian, stating the reason for the early dismissal, is required for any student leaving school before the end of the school day.

Parents or guardians must follow the school’s early dismissal procedures, which may include signing out the student at the office.

This policy ensures a safe and organized environment for all students during arrival and dismissal times.

Dress Code

The character and nature of God’s work in our lives is often expressed through our interactions with the world around us. With the understanding God looks at the heart while we often look at the outward appearance of man, we recognize the fruit of His work within us should be evident in our expression to the world around us. Through our dress code, we seek to reflect the expression of God’s nature and be a testament of His power within our lives.

“As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.” Proverbs 27:19

All apparel will reflect standards of modesty and excellence as influenced by biblical principles and professional societal norms. The general dress code applies to all NCA activities (during and after school) unless stated otherwise, and includes sporting and special events. Attire should reflect outward modesty and an inward spirit of self control; reflecting an attitude of compliance and submission to guidelines developed by school authorities. Thereby demonstrating respect toward self, students, teachers, administration, and parents.

Please see the school handbook for more specific information  on the dress code.

Holidays & Absence

Regular school attendance is essential for academic success and personal growth. Being present in school ensures students actively engage with lessons, participate in discussions, and build critical skills needed for their future. Consistent attendance fosters a sense of responsibility, strengthens relationships with peers and teachers, and supports social-emotional development. Every day in school provides opportunities to learn, grow, and prepare for lifelong success. To support consistent attendance, families are encouraged to plan holidays around the school schedule whenever possible and to provide sufficient notice to the school for any scheduled prolonged absences. By prioritizing attendance and coordinating with the school, students maximize their potential and stay on track to achieve their goals.

Lunches and Snacks

Parents are encouraged to provide a healthy snack and lunch for their student. Please identify lunches with the student’s name. Also, please use an ice pack if the lunch needs to be kept cold. Food can be warmed if needed.  NCA does not have a lunch program, but there are times when classes will sell pizza, subs, etc. If a student forgets to bring lunch, NCA has a few lunch staples on hand.  Students will not be permitted to use Door-Dash. However, if a student is unable to eat food that is provided by NCA, a parent may use Door-Dash as long as the office is made aware ahead of time.

Please refer to the School Handbook for more information.
