(Plants/Animals) it explains how organisms reproduce and how various processes of life are carried out. Activities Include: Dissection of frogs, grasshoppers, starfish, perch, crayfish, and worms. The study of elements on the periodic table and how they interact with one another. Activities Include: Various experiments. A Chemistry based class which includes how our bodies use different types of foods. Activities Include: Making food that represents each chapter. (pie, ice cream, garnishes) This class takes up the first half of the 8th grade year. It teaches the basics of biology and the creation vs. evolution argument. Taking up he second half of 8th grade, this class involves calculating velocities, learning symbols of the elements, and learning about different types of pressure. Usually involving the 12th grade, this class involves daily hands on activities that link everyday life to science.
